The briefing in any mission is vital. Only you know what you have to do in a mission, not having one will mean nobody else will know what to do. A briefing is split into different sections, and is done by creating a file called "briefing.html" in your mission directory.
Navigate to the mission folder:
<flashpoint>\Users\<user>\[MP]missions\<mission name>\
Create an empty file called "briefing.html" and start typing.
Typing what? Yes, well. Below I have an example of a briefing. You can copy and paste this into your briefing.html file and change what you need to.

My Mission Name

Date of mission

Soviet forces attacked the main town yesterday, we lost lots of men.

New paragraph.

I wrote this mission.

Attack town and capture.

Objectives

Attack this.

Secure that.

Defend over there.

Mission Successful

We won

Mission Failed

We lost
